The BV Pool and Recreation Center offers a variety of camps based on needs and NID days in the community. We normally have week long camps available during spring break and summer vacation. We often have 1 day camps available during SD 54 non-instructional days.

Camps offer action-packed day(s) of climbing, swimming, games, crafts and more with the amazing BV Pool Zoo Keepers. This program is Fun for kids and not intended as swim or climbing instruction.

Drop-off:  8:30 AM                                                                                                                            
Pick-up: 4:00 PM

Summer Kids Camp drop-off and pick-up is located at the mural side door. All parents and guardians will need to sign-in and sign-out their campers for the day with a Kids Camp Leader. We ask that you please call the BV Regional Pool and Recreation Centre Front Desk at (250) 847 – 4244 with as much notice as possible if you will be late for drop-off or pick-up.

What to Bring:

Comfortable clothes appropriate to the weather (jackets and sweaters for cold days), outdoor running shoes, indoor running shoes, bathing suit (goggles), towel, hat, sunscreen, a generous nutritious lunch and snacks, and water bottle. Energy and a Smile.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow snack items to be purchased from the vending machine during snack time or lunch time. Parents or guardians may purchase lunch items before or after camp for their child, or a permission note can be sent with the child.

Please Leave at Home: 

Electronics (games or cell phones), valuables, food and snacks with nuts, unsupportive footwear (i.e., crocs, flip flops etc.).

Program Cancellation:

If a minimum number of registrants is not met, we may cancel programs due to insufficient registration. These decisions are made up to 48 hours prior to the start date, so please register early. If your camp is cancelled, you will be notified and issued a full credit.

Customer Cancellation:

We require withdrawal notification a minimum of 48 hours prior to the camp start to receive a credit to your account. Please note there will be a $10 enrolment modification administration fee charged for any cancellation and/or changes to registration for non-medical reasons (per request). Refunds requested less than 48 hours before the camp start date or thereafter will not be granted except for medical reasons or relocation.
